Frontier Logistics Services Awards $20,000 in
Scholarships to CUSD High School Graduates
COMPTON, Calif., - Compton-based business Frontier Logistics Services presented $20,000 in scholarships to 20 Compton Unified School District (CUSD) graduates from Centennial, Compton and Dominguez high schools, Tuesday, June 22. For the fifth consecutive year, graduates received certificates of achievement and signed checks ranging from $500 to $1,500 during the CUSD Board of Trustees' meeting in the CUSD board room, 501 S. Santa Fe Ave. Scholarship recipients included: Centennial High School graduates Jasmine Angulo, Destiny Dixon and Jazlyn Fuller; Compton High School graduates Jessica Guerrero, Alejandra Herrera, Jose Meraz, Asaad Miller, Maria Moya, Ernesto Villasenor, Jennifer Villegas and Curshanae Tornero- Witherspoon; and Dominguez High School graduates Neriluz Aguilera, Maricela Fernandez, Oscar Garcia, D'Antoine McElroy, Monica Rincon, Maribel Ramos, Guadalupe Sandoval, Margarita Sandoval and Vincent Torres.
